Paul has an Honours degree in Law, Politics and History and obtained a Distinction in the Solicitors’ Finals Course. He was winner of the Law Society prize for outstanding academic performance in his year. He became a partner in the firm in 2001.

Paul specialises in complicated personal injury, clinical and professional negligence cases, employment law and general Civil Litigation/Court Actions including contract and commercial disputes. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and has been a visiting Post-Graduate lecturer in advanced litigation (personal injury), business law and solicitors’ accounts, on the Solicitors’ Finals Course at the Birmingham City University. Paul was also a visiting lecturer at the University of Law in Birmingham.

He is a full member of the Employment Lawyers Association and acts for both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious issues, including the drafting of contracts, Employment Tribunals and drafting/advising on Settlement Agreements (formerly compromise agreements).

Paul acts in a wide variety of disputes in the County Court, High Court and tribunals including the Court of Appeal in recent years in the widely reported and important case of Akici -v- L.R. Butlin Ltd.

Paul, together with Richard, also act in a variety of commercial, business and share transactions.
